In January, we proudly announced the launch of the AgriVet Challenge to our Veterans IN Farming community during a virtual membership meeting. This exciting opportunity offers our members a chance to win up to $25,000 to support their agricultural ventures.
If you're interested in learning more, there will be another informational session at the Veterans IN Farming Membership meeting in September.
To prepare for this opportunity, we encourage Indiana veterans to focus on developing a strong business plan and gaining the financial literacy skills needed to run a successful agricultural business. A great way to sharpen these skills is by attending the Boots to Business one-day course offered at the conference.
I live in Ohio. Can I still apply? This grant is for residents of Indiana who were honorably discharged or honorably serving. This may become a National program in the future.

Who is giving this award out? We are partnered with Veterans IN Farming, Indiana Farm Bureau, AgrAbility, and Indiana Grown
When do I need to have my paperwork in? Applications are due October 31, 2025. All parts of the application must be submitted at one time and will not be reviewed after this date.
When will I hear about the grant? Award Announcement will be in December 2025
If I apply for this can I apply for other grants? This grant does not compete or prevent applying to other grants or sources of funding
