If your hive is packed with bees after overwintering, please consider joining us for training on properly splitting a hive. This two-hour class will provide a hands on experience on when to do it, what to split, and how to manage the split until a queen is produced.

Ron Myers will lead the discussion. He has received numerous SARE grants on beekeeping, over 40 years of experience in beekeeping, and previous commercial beekeeper.

Please bring a beesuit, gloves and any other protective equipment you may need. We will be getting "down and dirty" with the bees.

This class is for beekeepers that have successfully overwinter their colonies. It will not be a basic beekeeper class in their first year.
