Whether you're selling products at a farmers market, being interviewed on a podcast, applying for a grant, or discussing financing with a lender, you need to be able to explain your farm clearly, confidently, and persuasively.

Join us for an interactive session focused on three essential communication skills:

• Know your audience. Understand what matters to the person you're speaking with.

• Make your case. Explain what makes your farm, products, or project worth supporting.

• Make your ask. Know what you want to accomplish and how to move the conversation forward.

We'll use real farming situations and short exercises to help you develop your own 30-second farm pitch.

Have paper and a pencil handy! You'll get the most out of this session by working through the exercises with us.

Open to veteran farmers, service members, and military spouses, whether you're already farming or just getting started.
